This crystal growing set is a fun way to explore science and geology at home.  This crystal growing kit includes everything needed to grow your own crystals at home.  The set includes a plastic cup to grow your crystals, a base stone, crystal powder, gloves and a stir stick.  These crystals come in 5 different colors and are an easy to do STEM experiment for kids.  The plastic cup is 1.75" x 3", and the crystal can stay in the cup or be very carefully removed.

FYI -  These grow slowly!  It can take a week or 2 to be completed.  You will see progress within a couple of days.  It works by evaporation, so setting it out in the hot sun will make it go fast.

Crystallization occurs naturally when the liquid cools and hardens causing atoms to bind together in different ways. This ensures a unique pattern every single time a crystal is made, the perfect example of this is the uniqueness of snowflakes.
