Fine Motor Strength Development Bundle #2 - Hand and Finger Strength Tasks
This is a bundle of 6 activities hand selected to help build fine motor skills by strengthening the muscles in the hand and fingers. Refined fine motor skills are important because those little muscles are vital to complete tasks quickly with precision movement.
This bundle is comprised of activities and toys that have resistance that will force children to squeeze and use those tiny muscles!
Bubble Squeezer - This bubble toy is so much fun. Each set comes with a 4oz bubble solution bottle and a 3" squeezable critter. Simply dip the bubble wand "nose" into solution and then squeeze! These little guys work great and every dip gives about 3-4 squeezes full of bubbles!
These bubbles are a wonderful way to sneak in fine motor hand exercises for occupational therapy while playing. Squeezing builds fine motor skills by strengthening the muscles in the hand and fingers. Refined fine motor skills are important because those little muscles are vital to complete tasks quickly with precision movement.
- Squeeze Frog - This frog ball is irresistible because as you squeeze, the center ball pokes out of the webbing holes creating a blob frog! Colors vary.
- Slime - This putty is so much fun. When you try to stuff it in the jar it makes funny farting noises which encourages little fingers to do it again and again! Seriously, it is addicting and therapeutic, you can't stop stuffing it back! Using putty and slime is a great way to build fine motor muscles through play! It pulls apart slowly with quite a bit of resistance before it breaks so it is a tougher putty for more muscle workout. Colors vary.
- Twisty Water Dropper - Transfer water from cup to cup with these twisty droppers and give more practice with those fine motor skills! Colors Vary
- Gator Tweezer - Blunt crocodile tweezer (colors vary) Sized for toddler hands. 4" (ages 2+)
Slime Sucker - This slime and accompanying critter is so much fun. Squeeze the critter and suck up the liquidy slime, then pop it back out to do it again. Squeezing the critter is a great way to build those hand and finger muscles through play! Start out with smaller balls of the slime and work your way up to sucking bigger chunks. Colors and styles vary. (snail, monster, gargoyle in purple or blue)
This slime is wet and jiggly like jello without gelatin. It oozes well and is fluid, but can be a little messy (if you rub it in your hands or on the table it will break into little pieces that will stick to hands and table)
