This busy bag is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers who love to lace! This set contains large natural wood beads and a thick and sturdy tube rope. The beads are varied in size (smallest being 1/2" and the largest being the disc at 1 3/4"). Each bead also has varied hole width for beginners to advanced. Youngest children should have the smaller beads and the beads with the smaller holes removed and slowly add them back in as they advance. I also included 2 lace styles. First is a sturdy tube. The thick and sturdy lace makes it easier for young children to hold and lace the beads without the string flopping down! Children can progress to using the thick hemp also.

You get 16 large (1"-1 3/4") natural wood beads in 8 different shapes (Spool is 1 3/16")
One thick and sturdy plastic tube to lace the beads.
One thick hemp lace.

What they are learning WHILE having fun:
- Hand/Eye coordination and spacial recognition. - Being able to line up the beads and place them on the lace
- Fine motor - Practicing using fine motor pincer grasp in order to manipulate the beads. Builds hand muscles and dexterity which are essential for a proper pencil grasp.
- Concentration. This activity utilizes several manipulatives for open-ended pretend play so it offers a great opportunity to sit and focus on a task before it is completed.
